Indiana Online - Flex ED

Expand Course Offerings Or Fulfill Teacher Shortages With A Complete Online Curriculum And Learning Management System.

The Indiana Online FlexED program offers school corporations a complete, standards-based, online curriculum, as well as a learning management system for use in a virtual or face-to-face environment with students.

How it works:

Schools can utilize our FlexED programs to fulfill teacher shortages or expand course offerings with a complete curriculum. With our FlexED-C model, the school’s teacher will serve as the online teacher for the chosen course(s). Or schools may choose to use Indiana Online teachers with our FlexED-T model. The courses are delivered online via our Canvas learning management system and are hosted by Indiana Online.

Indiana Online will Provide:

  • Curriculum
  • Learning management system
  • Support for students and parents
  • Communication with the school’s appointed person
  • Certified teachers, teaching within their content area
  • Access to synchronous sessions

FlexED-c

SCHOOLS PROVIDE THEIR OWN TEACHERS

Indiana Online Will Provide:

  • Curriculum
  • Learning management system
  • Support for students and parents
  • Professional development to the school staff
  • A teacher to serve as a course liaison to the school’s certified teacher

The School Will Provide:

  • Student enrollment
  • Technology for student course access
  • Access to all Indiana Online websites and collaboration tools
  • A classroom monitor or point person
  • Credit upon successful course completion

 

The School Will Provide:

  • Student enrollment
  • Dates for course milestones
  • Technology for student course access
  • Zoom or collaboration tool access
  • Grading of assignments
  • Certified teacher for each section
