Indiana Online Academy focus groups were conducted to enhance the student experience by gathering valuable feedback from full-time students taking synchronous courses. Understanding their needs and experiences allows us to refine our approach and ensure that Indiana Online continues to provide high-quality, student-centered education.
The Process: Gathering Student Feedback
To initiate the focus groups, we conducted a survey among students enrolled in synchronous courses. The survey responses provided insights into students’ perspectives on resources, teacher availability, support systems, and overall satisfaction with their learning experience. Notably, 25% of the responses came from students who have been enrolled with Indiana Online Academy for more than 2 years, offering a mix of new and long-term student feedback.
