Our team continues to grow. We are pleased to welcome Lynell Amstutz to the Student Services team as a Student Success Specialist. Lynell will be working with schools and students to ensure students’ success.
Lynell has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast and a Master of Science in Education with a specialty in School Counseling from Indiana University Southeast. She has worked with students for the past 5 years. Most recently at Central Catholic Jr-Sr High School as one of their school counselors.
During her time at Central Catholic, Lynell worked with students to ensure that mental health, educational, and personal needs were met. She also helped with scheduling and helped students discover what they wanted to do after high school, whether that be college, trade school, starting a career, or the military. Lynell worked to create a safe environment for students and helped them to see their potential.
We are also pleased to welcome Alica Ikerd to the Student Services team in the role of Registrar. Alicia will work closely with our partner schools to ensure all students are enrolled in their courses.
Alicia graduated from IUPUI in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and proceeded to earn a master’s degree in library and information science in 2022 from IU’s School of Informatics.
She has three years of experience working in nonprofits and has served students of all ages in various retail, educational, and administrative roles since 2014. She has experience facilitating data migrations, creating educational community programs, developing library collections, documenting internal procedures, assisting with social media efforts, and much more.
Lynell and Alicia have been with us for several months and are playing a crucial role in our partner schools’ students’ success. Welcome to the team Lynell and Alicia!
