Indiana Online Welcomes Two New Team Members

Indiana Online is excited to welcome two new employees, Dr. Taunya Kline and Matt Schreiber. Both Taunya and Matt are members of the Indiana Online instructional design team, working to build quality online classes. Learn a little more about them below.

Dr. Taunya Kline, Instructional Designer

Taunya has 19 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a secondary in Educational Technology, a Master’s in Curriculum and Development, and a Bachelor’s in Education PK-8, with a minor in Child Psychology. She’s served as:

  • A second grade teacher
  • A university professor
  • Assistant Director of Faculty Enrichment
  • Center Director for Sylvan Learning Center
  • Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center

“My greatest professional passion is engaging students in their learning and making the student and teacher experience dynamic.  Indiana Online has and continues to provide me with the opportunity to not only sharpen my own skills and abilities, but use them to create courses that increase the learning experience and provide top-notch education. I’m very blessed to be part of such a wonderful team,” says Taunya.

Outside of work, Taunya is passionate about animal rights and humane treatment. She’s been on several mission trips to China, the Dominican Republic, and Zimbabwe.

Matt Schreiber, Instructional Designer

Matt has more than 15 years of experience working with educators, faculty, and eLearning professionals in various positions across the country, including roles as:

  • Instructional Designer
  • Director of Distance Education
  • Classroom teacher

“Indiana Online is growing, and having the opportunity to be a part of a team that focuses on quality education is important,” says Matt. “From my short time here, CIESC and Indiana Online have demonstrated their commitment to providing quality educational opportunities for students.”

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, though he resonates with the sentiment, “a two-year-old is kind of like having a blender, but you don’t have a top for it.”

“Indiana Online is excited to welcome Dr. Taunya Kline and Matt Schreiber to our Instructional Design team as each individual brings unique strengths,” says Laura Garmire, Instruction Design & Curriculum Coordinator. “Both come to the team with a lot of exciting new ideas to continue improving Indiana Online courses.”

We’re excited to see what they build and improvements they make with courses at Indiana Online. Learn more about our courses now.
