Welcome Melissa Bardack, Instructional Specialist

We are pleased to welcome Melissa Bardack to the Indiana Online team as our Instructional Specialist. She will join our Administration team to develop and provide professional learning  for our teachers, onboard new teachers, and assist in the evaluation process. Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University. She has worked with students for over 11 years most recently at Center Grove Community School Corporation as the Innovation and Media Specialist.

During her time at Center Grove, Melissa designed and facilitated many of the professional development sessions for not only the traditional classroom experience, but also the online instructional platform. She also worked with the Center Grove media center teams to create a safe, collaborative, and engaging environment for students and staff.

In addition to her role at Indiana Online, Melissa will serve on the professional learning committee of two national organizations: the Virtual Learning Leadership Alliance (VLLA) and the State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA).

    Kim Hendrick is the Executive Director of Indiana Online at Central Indiana Educational Service Center, one of the largest supplemental online high school programs in Indiana. She has more than 29 years of professional experience and plays an important role in the definition of Indiana Online’s direction and charting the course towards strategic objectives through the effective management of key resources and innovation initiatives. She serves on two committees for the national Virtual Learning Leadership Alliance (VLLA) and the SETDA Professional Development Committee. She also served on the Indiana Connected Educator’s Board and the IDOE's Indiana eLearning Leadership Cadre.
