Welcome Rachel Bauer, Program Coordinator

Rachel Bauer joins the Indiana Online team as our Program Coordinator, contributing new initiatives to further the growth and development of the program. As a liaison, she will play a vital role in reporting current and future trends to counselors, teachers, parents, and staff.

Over the past eight years of serving as a professional school counselor, Rachel has enjoyed the reputation as a compassionate, ambitious, results-driven, and reliable counselor and educator. Rachel’s most recent experience as an educator was at Frankfort High School enhancing student’s academic, social/emotional, and career-building skills. Rachel has a unique blend of experience advising at-risk students, facilitating school-wide testing, and overseeing and coaching online learning.  

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Rachel earned her Masters in Human Services and Counseling from DePauw University.  She has counseled students from Excel Academy, McCutcheon High School, Nexus Academy, and Frankfort High School. She was responsible for IEP’s, 504’s, dual credit, ISTEP, ILEARN, and NWEA testing, career counseling, and social-emotional guidance.  

We look forward to utilizing Rachel’s skills as she contributes to maintaining and enhancing student, teacher, and counselor opportunities with Indiana Online.

    Kim Hendrick serves as the Director of Indiana Online, a department of the Central Indiana Educational Service Center (CIESC). She oversees the largest non-profit online supplemental course provider in Indiana. Kim and her team have built an online program partnering with over 300 high schools across the state of Indiana with over 35,000+ enrollments and 300+ teachers. Kim has over 30 years of professional experience, is a strong leader and change agent with the innovation insight, vision, and enthusiasm necessary to inspire teams for the growth and development of online education and policy at the state and national levels. She serves as the Vice President of the Executive Board for the Virtual Learning Leadership Alliance (VLLA), is a member of the leadership team for AccredVEd, and serves on the executive committee for the Digital Learning Collaborative (DLC).
